Govt launches flood gate & water pump installation subsidy scheme

2018-06-13 07:26     Comment:1

The Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM) – a semi-government entity – yesterday announced details of a scheme to subsidise small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for the installation of flood gates and water pumps in their shops in the city’s low-lying areas.

The subsidy scheme, which also includes technological assistance, aims to reduce the damage and losses that business owners suffer if flooding hits their neighbourhoods.

Business owners can apply for the subsidy for the installation of flood gates and water pumps at the same time, but cannot only apply for water pumps.
