Due to the adverse weather, the Macau∙Qingdao Beer Cultural Festival, presented by Wynn and its organising committee, is closed today and it will not reopen until further notice, according to a notice on the beer-fest’s official website.
The beer-fest has been closed since Monday. The local observatory had hoisted the storm-warning Signal No. 3 on that day.
The statement said that the organisers will contact ticket holders individually for rescheduling dates or refunds, adding that for further event arrangements, the organisers will announce details on their official website.
The beer-fest opened last Friday in a tent outside Wynn Palace in Cotai and was supposed to run until August 8. The beer-fest serves food along with Macau Beer and the world-famous Tsingtao Beer. While Macau Beer was launched locally in 1996, Tsingtao Beer has been brewed in Qingdao since 1903, initially called Germania Beer.
The statement said for any enquiries, contact 6868 8066. The organisers have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
