The statement noted that the affected batches are as follow: “Kinder Mini Eggs” 75 grammes, best before April 20- August 20, 2022; “Kinder Egg Hunt Kit” 150 grammes, best before April 20- August 20, 2022; “Kinder Surprise” 100 grammes, April 20- August 20, 2022; “Kinder Schokobons”, 200 grammes, April 20- August 20, 2022; “Kinder Surprise” 20 grammes, best before July 11-Ocotber 7, 2022; and “Kinder Surprise” 20 grammes x 3, best before July 11-Ocotber 7, 2022.

According to the statement, the bureau immediately alerted the food sector about the incident, and sent IAM officials to inspect shops. The statement said that after a preliminary investigation, there are no products from the affected batches being sold in Macau. The statement underlined that in order to ensure food safety, the bureau will continue to monitor the incident, urging the public not to consume the affected batches.
