Cloud invitations for the 10th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE), which will take place from July 8-10, have been sent to provide an introduction to programme highlights and information for potential exhibitors, the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said in a statement on Monday.
According to the statement, worldwide tourism industry members are invited to join the expo, explore business opportunities and create new partnerships across “tourism+” fields. The invitations feature an event introduction and were also sent to local trade members on Monday, and later will be sent to tourism and related businesses in the mainland and overseas for exhibitor registration, the statement noted.
The cloud invitations will be sent at different periods and further details can be found at www.mitexpo.mo by clicking “Cloud Exhibition Invitation” under “Cloud Exhibition”. Further information can be obtained by calling 2870 3707 or emailing info@mitexpo.mo.
The statement pointed out that the expo will again be held in “hybrid online and offline format”. The expo is reaching its 10-year milestone this year, with the statement adding that new elements will continue to be offered while advancing concerted development between tourism and various industries to strengthen synergy across “tourism +”.
The event, the statement underlined, aims to improve Macau’s offering as a world centre of tourism and leisure.
The statement noted that the a expo is organised by MGTO and coordinated by the Macau Travel Agency Association, as well as supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Beijing.
