The Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) announced in a statement yesterday that 22 public services will be suspended from today through Friday due to the latest COVID-19 developments.
The statement noted that the affected public services comprise the veterinary clinic and surgery of the Macau Municipal Kennel, detoxification and maintenance treatment services (Methadone) provided by the Carmo Drug Treatment Centre in Taipa, specialist clinical services provided by the Health Bureau (SSM) and visits to the emergency department of the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre, as well as the nursing services at the city’s 11public health centres.
According to the statement, other affected services include some of the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) visitor information counters at six local casinos, the Museum Shop of the Macau Museum of Art (MAM), and the Palace Museum Cultural and Creative Store.
The statement also urged residents to use electronic means to apply for public services whenever possible. However, if it is necessary to attend to services in person, residents should make an appointment online or by telephone in advance.
