The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that the “hush! Beach Concerts x Urban Yo~ga Wellfest 2023”, organised in conjunction with MGM, will be held from today until November 5, with the free admission event featuring both music performances and other activities.

The statement noted that the event will feature over 50 performance groups from Macau and abroad in a music marathon of various genres for two consecutive weekends starting tomorrow.

Local bands will take to the stage for mini concerts this weekend in Largo Eduardo Marques in Coloane, the statement said, while Navy Yard No. 2 will host Japanese guitarist Ichika Nito for a performance and workshop titled “Resound on the Strings” on November 2, along with “Upbeat Power Concert” featuring “rising forces” in the Macau music scene on November 3. The statement added that three “distinctive stages” will also be set up at Hac Sá Beach for live performances.

The statement added that hush! will also launch sessions for the “Music Cruise”, connecting Barra and Coloane on weekends between tomorrow and November 5, during which local musicians will host mini-music concerts on the sightseeing boats.

Meanwhile, five workshops and discussions will be held at Navy Yard No. 2 from today through Sunday, and on November 2 (All Souls Day), with more details available on www.icm.gov.mo/hush

During the concerts from November 4 to 5, the hush! cultural and creative market and newly added art installations, among others, will also be set up at Hac Sá Beach, the statement said. The “Urban Yo~ga Wellfest” will be held concurrently, on Hac Sá Beach, where over 40 fitness instructors from around the world will hold workshops on yoga, fitness and meditation, among others.

Registration for some events and performances can be done on activity.mo.gov.mo/activity-h5, with the statement adding that a lucky draw will be held if the number of registrants exceeds the maximum number of participants.
