Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau has unveiled its “Joy of Wonder” lineup of celebratory events and offerings that run through New Year’s Day, kicking off with a lighting ceremony for its 5-metre-tall Christmas tree in the hotel’s lobby yesterday.
Yesterday’s “Joy of Wonder” Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, which, according to an Artyzen statement last night, features a tree crafted from dark chocolate and decorated with leaf-shaped cookies and festive symbols, also saw student carollers from the International School of Macao (TIS).
Rutger Verschuren, Area Vice President for Macau and Hengqin Operations at Artyzen Hospitality Group and General Manager of Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, was quoted in the statement as saying that for the hotel, “Christmas signifies a time of warmth and joy, allowing us to engage with our community and spread happiness, which is at the heart of our mission”, inviting members of the public to celebrate Christmas at the hotel’s “cosy, family-orientated atmosphere”.
The “Joy of Wonder” features festive promotions across the hotel’s signature restaurants and bar. Among them is Café Bela Vista, which features the Christmas Doce Afternoon Tea Set that offers sweet and savoury culinary delights until December 26, along with buffets such as the Christmas Weekday Festive Dinner Buffet, which is on until December 19.
“Doce” is Portuguese for “sweet”.
Moreover, NAAM is offering its Christmas BBQ Dinner Buffet on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, while the Asian Night Market BBQ Buffet is offered on New Year’s Eve. Other dining offers are available at the hotel’s other restaurants and bar, as well as the spa and across the hotel, the statement said
There are also performances set to take place at Vasco-Bar and Lounge, while the “Traditional Countdown to Joy – New Year’s Eve Party with DJ” at the hotel lobby is set for December 31.
