Integrated resort operator Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) announced in a statement yesterday that eligible staff members at Senior Manager grade and below will receive a salary increase effective from April 1, being set to benefit around 98 percent of staff.
The statement noted that staff who joined the company before January 1, 2025 and have a monthly base salary and guaranteed tips (if applicable) of 16,000 patacas or below will receive an increment of 600 patacas.
Meanwhile, staff who joined before January 1, 2025 with a monthly base salary and guaranteed tips (if applicable) above 16,000 patacas will receive a 2.5 percent salary increase.
“GEG would like to thank all its team members for their efforts and contributions in the past year, and looks forward to working together with them to achieve another success”, the integrated resort operator said in the statement.
GEG is the second integrated resort operator to announce a wage hike for staff after Sands China, which made its announcement late last month and will be effective from March 1.
