The Sports Bureau (ID) said in a statement on Monday that due to popular demand, more tickets for the upcoming seven-day ITTF Men’s and Women’s World Cup Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) will be available from tomorrow.
The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It was founded 98 years ago.
Taking place from April 14 to 20 at Galaxy Arena in Cotai, the ITTF-sanctioned event will feature 96 paddlers comprising 48 male and 48 female competitors battling it out during its run. Among the players featured are the nation’s Wang Chuqin, world-ranked No.2 in men’s singles, and compatriots Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu, who are ranked world numbers one and two respectively in the women’s singles.
The statement noted that one can purchase tickets starting from noon on the day, priced between 85 patacas/yuan and 1,500 patacas/yuan, according to the statement, adding that one can buy up to four tickets.
The statement added that children shorter than 1.2 metre and do not occupy a seat can enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Each adult can only bring along one child for free admission, the statement said.
Tickets can be bought from Galaxy Ticketing, MPay’s mCoin platform, the competition venue or at Kong Seng outlets. One can also purchase them from www.MacauTicket.com and the Damai app.
The statement also said that a 20 percent discount is available for Macao Student Card holders or local residents aged 65 and above for matches between April 14 and 18. They can purchase the discounted tickets at Kong Seng outlets.
