The House of Dancing Water made its long-awaited comeback last night at the City of Dreams integrated resort in Cotai, marking the return* of an aquatic adventure show.

Held at its purpose-built theatre, the over 90-minute show is directed and has been recreated by Giuliano Peparini, the artistic director of LA-based Peparini Studios, and produced by Our Legacy Creations. It tells a story that features romance and adventure elements at a dynamic venue that incorporates visual effects and advanced technology, including state-of-the-art lighting and projection techniques.

Moreover, showgoers will witness high flying acrobatics, stunts including the use of motorcycles, theatre elements as well as dance performances. Audience interaction is also incorporated at the start of the show as performers move across the venue.

A red-carpet event was held prior to the start of last night’s premiere and featured guests and celebrities including those from the mainland and Hong Kong.

Also watching yesterday’s show were Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Edmund Ho Hau Wah; Secretary for Economy and Finance Tai Kin Ip; Melco Resorts and Entertainment Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho Yau Lung; and Peparini.
