The financial reserves of the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) in March increased by 183 million patacas month on month, or 0.02 percent, reaching 623.5 billion patacas (US$77.47 billion), as announced by the government in the Official Gazette (BO).
According to the announcement made earlier this week, the applications of the financial reserves generated 7.3 billion patacas in the first quarter of this year.
To date, the MSAR's financial reserves peaked at 663.5 billion patacas in February 2021.
Notably, the MSAR has no public debt.
