The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) is holding an open call for proposals for local bands, musicians and art installation curators for the outreach activities in “hush! Beach Concerts 2025” scheduled to take place in October.
The beach concerts will take place from October 18 to 19, while outreach activities such as community performances, music workshops, themed music development projects, and art installations will be held from October 11, according to a statement from the bureau yesterday.
The statement said that the music type for the beach concert is mainly pop music, with the outreach events set to explore “the diversity of pop music activities”.
The statement noted that the open call for the “Art Installations” project aims to enable participants to create and design outdoor art installations at Hac Sa Beach and the adjacent area, while the “Themed Music Development Projects” will allow local bands, musicians and curators to “unleash their creativity and conceive unique thematic music programmes”.
Lastly, the “Music Workshops” will accept self-nominated or recommended instructors to host “workshops on pop music-related knowledge and experience”, according to the statement.
One can submit proposals until July 31, while the regulations and registration form can be found at www.icm.gov.mo or the “HUSH FULL MUSIC” Facebook page.
