The “Neighbourhood Fun Fair: Seize the Summer” Family Carnival is scheduled to take place this Saturday in the Macau New Neighbourhood” (MNN) Lotus Square in Hengqin, being set to feature summer-themed activities for members of the public, according to a statement by Macau-government owned Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR) on Thursday.
The upcoming fair will take place from noon to 6 p.m., featuring two highlights: “Summer Bubble Show” and the “Summer Water Park”, each presenting interactive activities. The latter will also provide play equipment and pools for children aged five to 12, with free registration on a first come, first served basis, the statement said.
The statement noted that the event will also feature booth games, interactive experiences, photo installations and specialty markets, all summer-themed, along with 800 gifts and prizes on offer.
Macau residents who are not MNN residents can register their details at the sales centre on the first floor of Edifício Comercial Rodrigues on Avenida da Praia Grande (南灣大馬路) to receive a 100-yuan (113 patacas) shopping voucher with no minimum spending requirement, aiming to “encourage more Macau residents to experience the MNN area and its surrounding facilities for themselves”, according to the statement.
The statement said that one may take the MNN shuttle bus, which departs from the North Gate 2 bus pick-up area on Level L2 at Hengqin Port (Zhuhai’s Port Zone), to attend the event.
