The five-day NBA House is taking place at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo, with the free admission fan event featuring various basketball-themed activities and experiences, as well as opportunities to interact with NBA legends.
Kicking off ahead of The NBA China Games 2025 presented by Taobao 88 VIP slated for Friday and Sunday, the 14,000-square-metre NBA House marks its inaugural edition in Macau, having been previously held in Brazil, Canada, France, India, Mexico, the UK and the US, according to a statement provided during yesterday’s media tour. Aside from the sport, it also integrates fashion, music and technology.
Event highlights include on-court basketball activities, games and interactive installations such as the LED basketball fountain, LED stage court and the NBA Replay Centre where fans can experience being a referee. The two NBA teams set to face off in the pre-season games on Friday and Saturday also have exhibition areas, namely the Brooklyn Nets’ “Infinity Room”, which comprises three infinity rooms for photo-taking and buying merchandise, and the Phoenix Suns’ “Sneaker Vault” where fans have a chance to win sneakers.
Close to 30 booths have also been set up at the venue including those showcasing high-end NBA fashion items and a customisation station for fans. Moreover, live performances are scheduled, while fans also have a chance to take photos of NBA trophies. Food and beverages are on offer at the venue by local SMEs from Rua das Estalagens* (草堆街) supported by Sands China’s revitalisation initiatives.
The free-admission NBA House is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. from tomorrow through Sunday, its last day. More details can be found on: https://www.venetianmacao.com/
* Rua das Estalagens is directly translated from Chinese as “Haystack Street” and “Street of Inns” from Portuguese.
