The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) announced in a statement yesterday afternoon that Macau’s temperature will drop to as low as 13 degrees Celsius from tomorrow.

According to the weather station, under the influence of a strong northeastern monsoon, northerly winds will strengthen significantly, and the mercury will drop noticeably starting from today.

The observatory forecast that the minimum temperature will be around 13 degrees Celsius between tomorrow and Thursday. The wind chill effect will make the perceived temperature lower than the actual temperature, the bureau said.

The bureau urged the public to pay close attention to the weather changes and take precautions to stay warm.

Meanwhile, the weather station forecast that the wind will reach Force 6 with strong guts and expected to persist for two to three days.

According to the 12-level Beaufort scale, Force 6 indicates “strong breeze” conditions.

This temperature forecast chart provided by the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) yesterday evening forecasts that the local temperature may fall to as low as 13 degrees Celsius from tonight.
