Hong Kong-American stand-up comedian and actor Jimmy O. Yang* will be returning to Macau for the “Galaxy Macau Presents: The Jimmy O. Yang Chinese New Year Show”, which will take place on February 21 at Galaxy Arena in Cotai, the integrated resort operator announced in a statement yesterday, with tickets to be available from 11 a.m. on December 4.
The show follows 38-year-old Yang’s six sold-out Macau shows that spanned across three days at the Broadway Theatre in July this year, with the statement noting that it drew over 13,000 fans.
Yang, born Au Yeung Man Sing to Shanghainese parents, will be back “bigger and funnier than ever” to usher in the Chinese New Year with joy and good fortune, the statement said.
On his Instagram account, Yang, who is also known for his various roles in TV and films, announced via video: “I’m gonna do stand-up. There’s going to be singing, dancing and some incredibly special guests. It’s going to be a mega Chinese New Year extravaganza!”
Ticket prices range from 380 patacas to 880 patacas, with more information available on www.galaxymacau.com. Moreover, there is also an exclusive presale for BOC Visa Credit Card holders available from 11 a.m. on December 3 on travel booking platform Klook.
*Yang and his family emigrated from Hong Kong to the US when he was 13. Among his TV roles are Jian-Yang in the HBO comedy series “Silicon Valley”, while he also acted in films like “Crazy Rich Asians” in 2018 and the 2021 Netflix romantic comedy “Love Hard”, where he was one of the leads. – Source: Post article dated June 11, 2025
