Integrated resort Galaxy Macau announced in a statement yesterday that the United States’ Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will return to Galaxy Arena in Cotai from May 28 to 30 with three consecutive days of competition, culminating in UFC Fight Night Macau.
According to the statement, the May events will include a triple-header featuring UFC Fight Night and ROAD TO UFC Season 5, with Galaxy Macau also hosting the opening round of ROAD TO UFC Season 5 on May 28 and 29.
Ahead of UFC Fight Night, Galaxy Macau will stage a week-long series of UFC-themed activities, including athlete meet-and-greets and fan experiences across the integrated resort. Fans are encouraged to follow “Galaxy Ultimate” on WeChat and visit Galaxy Macau’s official website for updates, the statement noted.
The statement said that the UFC’s return aligns with the local government’s vision of economic diversification and aims to strengthen Macau’s role as an international sports and entertainment destination.
The events are part of a four-year strategic partnership established last year, which will bring three UFC Fight Night events to Galaxy Arena through to 2029, according to the statement.
The statement also noted that the upcoming UFC programme is expected to draw fans from across the region and further boost Macau’s profile as a global hub for sport, tourism and entertainment.
