Wynn Macau this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, with the integrated resort operator to host two 15-minute drone shows this weekend to commemorate its two-decade history.
Both shows are slated to start at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with the events to feature 3,000 drones, Wynn Resorts said in a statement yesterday.
The first drone show will take place on Saturday at Wynn Macau’s Performance Lake in Nape, the statement noted. The second, meanwhile, will take place at Nam Van Lake on Sunday.
The statement highlighted that the celebratory event is in line with the company’s 20th anniversary theme: “Two Decades of Shared Success, Committed to Partnership for a Sustainable Future” and embraces “Technology and Art” as its creative concept.
“Guided by the signature Wynn Butterfly, spectators will embark on a visual journey through two decades of growth and progress, celebrating the remarkable story Wynn and Macau have written together”, the integrated resort highlighted in the statement, encouraging members of the public to join in the celebration.
Wynn Macau, the first of Wynn Resorts’ two properties in the city, opened on September 6, 2006. Together with its second tower Encore, which opened in 2010, the five-star luxury hotel boasts a total of 1,014 rooms and suites.
Meanwhile, Wynn Resorts’ second integrated property in Macau, the 28-storey Wynn Palace located in Cotai, opened on August 22, 2016.
