Vietnamese nationals looking for work in Macau will need to submit a non-criminal record certificate for their application to be processed, the Public Security Police (PSP) announced in a statement yesterday.
According to the statement, the measure will take effect next February. No other nationality is affected by the measure.
The statement said that the measure was needed to “respond to the practical situation of public security, migration controls and the labour market for non-resident workers”.
