A casino staff shuttle bus hit the kerb in Pac On in Taipa, slightly injuring two passengers and the driver yesterday afternoon, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said.
According to the Fire Services Bureau, the accident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. outside the Lightex industrial building in Estrada de Pac On when the bus was travelling towards the Taipa Ferry Terminal.
The Transmac vehicle is used as a shuttle bus for members of staff of the Galaxy Macau casino-hotel resort in Cotai, according to the bureau.
The 55-year-old male driver and the two female passengers, aged 49 and 56, were taken to the public Conde de Sao Januario Hospital Centre for treatment, the bureau said.
The accident resulted in a traffic jam at the nearby Friendship Bridge exit. The traffic police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
