The local franchisee of the Taiwanese TeaWater brand opened its second local shop in the city centre on Wednesday, after quickly gaining in popularity among locals from its first store in the Red Market and “Three Lamps” area.
The opening ceremony of the second shop at Rua do Monte, near the Ruins of St Paul’s landmark, was held on Wednesday, complete with a lion dance.
One of the owners of the franchisee company, Ng Lai Si, told reporters that there are many bubble tea stores in Macau, but their brand focuses more on fresh fruit teas, with no artificial flavouring.
