Macau Chief Executive Electoral Affairs Commission President Song Man Lei yesterday said that the commission has recommended a budget of 32.45 million patacas for the upcoming chief executive election, adding that the commission would convey its suggestion to Chief Executive (CE) Fernando Chui Sai On for approval.
Song spoke to reporters after a regular meeting of the commission at the Public Administration Building in Rua do Campo.
Song said that the proposed budget was similar to the one five years ago, adding that after considering the inflation rate, this year’s election budget would only be increased by 120,000 patacas from the previous one.
