On Saturday night The Parisian held its second “Light The Night Run” vertical race up its half-sized replica Eiffel Tower to raise funds for local charities Macau IC2 Association and Caritas Macau However, due to the torrential rain that had been pouring down throughout the day the main event of the evening had to be cancelled.
The Parisian, like last year, had set up the Light the Night Run Wellness Fun Festival, which included a wellness market, a chill zone plus yoga, meditation and workout sessions with the added attraction of live music, and live performances.
Last year the event was full of families enjoying the April sunshine and taking part in all the fun activities while the runners ran a lap around The Venetian and The Parisian resorts in Cotai and up the 750 steps to the tower’s 37th floor observation deck finish line.
