The first local Ikea store will open in Taipa in the first quarter of next year, a statement from the Swedish furniture retailer said yesterday.
The brand currently only has a pick up point at Macau Tower for local customers to collect their purchases made through its online website, while customers also can pay extra for home delivery.
The statement did not specify where in Taipa its 90,000-square-foot (8,361-square-metre) store will be located.
