Transmac Chairman Alfred Liu Hei Wan said yesterday he believed that 25 newly purchased buses which are equipped with USB ports to charge mobile phones and computers will further improve the services provided by the city’s public bus operators.
Liu made the remarks on the sidelines of yesterday’s launching ceremony for the 25 new buses in Pac On.
Talking to reporters, Liu, who heads one of the city’s three public bus service providers, said that some of the 25 buses would start operating later this week while the remainder would be on route soon.
