A gaming expo taking place next week will put more emphasis on non-gaming entertainment to offer gaming operators an alternative way of increasing revenue amidst the challenges they’re facing with gaming revenue, expo organiser Reed Exhibition’s Senior Vice President Josephine Lee Nga Yee said yesterday.
Lee made the comments while speaking to reporters prior to a media lunch at StarWorld to mark the G2E Asia gaming expo’s 10th anniversary.
Lee said that as there are changes in the gaming industry in Asia and especially Macau, the expo this year will include more non-gaming exhibitors and conferences about non-gaming entertainment which would be of particular interest to gaming operators who are looking to increase their revenues from their non-gaming offerings.
