A joint exhibition entitled “Three Rings and Five Buckles” is displaying five local artists’ creations at the Youth Art Exhibition and Performance Hall.
The five artists are fresh graduates from the Macau Polytechnic Institute’s (IPM) School of Arts, namely Chan Wai San, Chan Weng Cheng, Cheong Wan I, Chio Weng Chong and Lau Wai Man, according to online information provided by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ).
The exhibition is named “Three Rings and Five Buckles” because the artists come from three different art majors: Chinese painting, ceramics and sculptures. The five students (“five buckles”) are connected by the three art forms (“three rings”). They hope to present diverse kinds of artwork to the audience through this exhibition, according to the bureau’s information.
The exhibition runs until Sunday at the Youth Art Exhibition and Performance Hall in Praça do Tap Seac. It opens from noon to 8 p.m. every day. Admission is free.
As part of the government’s COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures, all visitors entering the venue must wear a facemask, have their temperature checked and present a digital health declaration.
