Watch & diamond exports rise in Jan-Aug
Macau’s watch and diamond exports jumped last month, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday. In August, watch exports leapt 145 percent to 109 million patacas year on year, while exports of diamonds and diamond jewellery jumped 191 percent to 42 million patacas. Exports of watches rose 27.9 percent to 898 million patacas in the first eight months, but diamond and diamond jewellery exports fell 10.8 percent to 440 million patacas in the same period.PLEASE READ THE

CTM hopes govt can grant 5G licences next year

Conrad rolls out ‘pink’ dishes for breast cancer awareness

Lush offers customers trade in mooncake tins for mask

Overseas visitors rise in August
The number of visitors from the US, Australia, Canada and other countries overseas rose year on year last month, according to data released by the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) this week. Police probe fire in residential building

Imported workers rise 4.6 pct 185,066
Macau’s number of non-resident workers (NRWs) rose 4.6 percent year on year to 185,066 at the end of August, the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) announced this week.
