Hotels log 12 million guests last year
Macau 107 hotels and guesthouses welcomed 12 million guests last year, an increase of 13.6 percent year-on-year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) has announced. Mainlanders, Hongkongers and Taiwanese accounted for 63.4 percent, 14.8 percent and 4.0 percent of all guests respectively.Guests from the mainland (7.6 million), Hong Kong (1.78 million) and Taiwan (477,000) rose 12.8 percent, 17.8 percent and 24.7 percent respectively. PLEASE READ THE FULL ARTICLE IN OUR PRINT

BNU donates 10.6 million patacas to UM

Woman’s WeChat hijacked in scam
A local woman’s WeChat account was hijacked on Monday when she was trying to buy game credits online, and then was used to borrow money from her friends, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Ho Chan Nam said yesterday during a press briefing. Ho said the 23-year-old woman saw an online advertisement which said she could buy 600,000 yuan worth of game credit for just 10 yuan. Govt to require young start-uppers to take business course

Casino revenue Jan growth misses forecasts

Sands give pay rise, bonus to full-time staff
