Hotel guests drop nearly 90 pct in May
Macau’s 108 hotels and guesthouses recorded 116,000 guests last month, a year-on-year decline of 89.9 percent, the Statistics and Service Bureau (DSEC) said in a statement yesterday. According to the statement, guests from the Chinese mainland (71,000) and Hong Kong (10,000) both decreased by over 90 percent. COVID-19 pushes up jobless rate
