The newly constructed leisure area in Alameda da Harmonia (和諧廣場), Seac Pai Van, officially opened yesterday, according to a recent announcement by the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM).
The facility is designed to provide a diverse leisure environment, catering to various age groups within the sprawling Seac Pai Van community, the statement pointed out.
The statement noted that the area spans approximately 2,730 square metres and is situated on both sides of Alameda da Harmonia (“Harmony Avenue”) between Lok Kuan and Ip Heng residential buildings. The space includes dedicated areas for children and toddlers, featuring climbing frames and playground equipment aimed at enhancing motor coordination, physical balance, and overall fitness, the statement said.
According to the statement, in addition to the children’s facilities, the adult fitness area is also equipped with a variety of exercise options to accommodate the needs of different age groups including teenagers, adults, and seniors.
The children’s play area is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., while the adult fitness area remains accessible 24/7.
