The Transport Bureau (DSAT) said in a statement on Friday that 13 out of the 24 bus routes that had used the Hato-damaged underground bus terminal at the Barrier Gate border checkpoint will return to the terminal “in the first phase” on December 15
Super Typhoon Hato wreaked havoc in Macau and caused severe flooding inside the bus terminal on August 23 last year. The terminal has been closed since then.
Severe flooding ruined most of the facilities inside the bus terminal, including the electricity supply, air-conditioning, ventilation, fire service installations, lifts and escalators.
