The Macau Customs Service said in a statement yesterday that its officers busted three separate smuggling cases at the Macau checkpoint of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HZMB) on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
According to the statement, customs officers seized the contraband from a car with a dual Macau-mainland registration plate and two tourists. According to the statement, the three people in the three cases are a female mainlander, a male mainlander and a Filipina respectively.
According to the statement, customs officers seized – in the three cases in total – 383 beauty care, cosmetics and perfume items, 73 pieces of clothing, and 20 handbags.
