Sands offers CNY delicacies from 6 restaurants

Sand Resorts Macau and Sands Macau presents Chinese New Year (CNY) menus from six award-winning restaurants to celebrate the Year of Ox at the Venetian, The Parisian, The Londoner and Sands Macao.

From February 11 to 21, the six restaurants – North, La Chine, Lotus Palace, Dynasty 8, Golden Court and Brasserie – will welcome Chinese New Year with traditional dishes that represent good fortune and happiness.

North from Venetian creates a special menu to prepare a variety of Chinese New Year dishes such as braised fish head with sea cucumber, fresh abalone and fish maw in superior broth.

Lotus Palace in Parisian offers set menus for four to ten people starting from 2,988 patacas, featuring stir-fried king prawn, abalone with preserved chilli sauce, braised beef short ribs and dried oysters topped with black moss in brown sauce. The restaurant also offers “poon choi”, a classic Cantonese festive dish, which includes braised abalone, sea cucumber, goose webs, dried scallops, tiger prawns and dried oyster. Reservation for “poon choi” will be available starting Monday onwards, pick-up or dine-in from February 9 to 21.

La Chine also in Parisian launches set menus for four to ten people starting from 3,888 patacas. The set includes an assorted selection of Chinese New Year specialties including barbecued pig, doubled-boiled chicken soup with sea cucumber and steamed tiger grouper.

Brasserie, another Parisian restaurant offers authentic French cuisine that presents a special three-course lunch menu at 288 patacas per person. The set will include seared duck Foie gras, Iberico pork collar, seared salmon streak with prawn and class French desserts.

Opening in time for CNY The Londoner’s Dynasty 8 offers a nine-course Chinese New Year set menu. The set menu that can feed up to ten people includes sea cucumber, abalone, red spotted grouper and other dishes. The festive menu starting price is 1,488 patacas. Classic poon choi is also available at Dynasty 8. Reservation for the poon choi starts next Monday onwards with pick-up or dine-in from February 11 to 21.

Sands Macau’s Golden Court, a contemporary Cantonese restaurant, has a special menu for the festive occasion featuring tossed salmon, jellyfish and crab roe.
