At 35.8°C Macau logs hottest May in 66 years
The temperature reached 35.8 degrees Celsius yesterday, marking it the hottest day this year, and the hottest May since 1952, according to the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG).An SMG official told the media yesterday said that due to an area of high pressure, the mercury reached at least 33 degrees for six consecutive days from May 19 to 24, which also makes this the longest period of hot weather in May recorded at the Big Taipa Hill weather station since 1991.Because of the hot
