Being in complete darkness can be a scary thing because you can’t see anything, so can you imagine how people who have lost their sight feel?
About 285 million people in the world are visually impaired, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO), but 80 percent of all visual impairment ailments can actually be cured, or prevented.
Orbis is an international eye care charity that goes on sight saving missions around the world so that people, mostly in developing countries and regions, who are needlessly blind, can see again.
