“Macau Week in Jiangsu” will be held in Nanjing from next Thursday to the following Monday, the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said in a statement yesterday.
According to the statement, as Macau’s COVID-19 pandemic situation continues to be stable, the Macau government continues to host a string of physical events to promote the city. The statement pointed out that the event will feature a mega-roadshow, a Macau tourism and MICE presentation seminar, business matching and networking and food promotions among other highlights to showcase Macau as a healthy, safe and quality destination to Nanjing’s residents and visitors.
The statement underlined that the event seeks to expand the range of people from different mainland cities visiting Macau in order to spur Macau’s tourism industry and economic revival.
Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu province. It has a population of 8.5 million.
