Local View Power (LVP) will have its 13th edition hosted by the Macau Cultural Centre (CCM) next month with the support of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), according to a CCM statement on Wednesday.
The statement added that the LVP event has challenged upcoming and reputable creators for more than a decade to showcase their work, encouraging film production. The statement further noted that over the years, 130 films have been commissioned.
All the selected teams, with some having been awarded and internationally recognised, have been tutored by guest professionals giving technical, financial and mentoring support, the statement underlined.
According to the statement, the LVP event will be held over six sessions with a wide selection of 13 films, each with personal views, varying themes, and different perspectives. The statement also said that particular connections between directors and their visions of the city will be depicted by each film.
The statement noted that tickets are priced at 60 patacas with different discounts on offer. The tickets will be available at CCM’s box office and Macau Ticketing Network outlets starting from Sunday. The screenings will be held from June 10 to 13, at the centre’s Small Auditorium, the statement pointed out.
The statement underlined that given the current COVID-19 epidemic situation, attendees will be required to wear a facemask, present their Macau Health Code, and have their temperature checked.
