The Manor at The St. Regis Macao wins best restaurant awards

The Manor at The St. Regis Macao has recently won two prestigious awards – Best Western Restaurant in China Feast Award and Platinum Award in Trip.com Gourmet Top Global Restaurant List.  

China Feast Award was launched by Restaurant Review, a publication covering the Food and Beverage industry and reviews Chefs and restaurants. Entering its 7th year, this annual award recognises all the best restaurants in Greater China and it is a highly regarded gourmet guide.

The awards ceremony held in Shanghai was attended by food connoisseurs, industry professionals, culinary pioneers and leading figures in the culinary world to share the new trends in the industry and their professional knowledge.

Meanwhile, back in Macau, The Manor won the Platinum award in Trip.com Group Gourmet Top Global Restaurant List at an awards ceremony at The Londoner Macao’s Londoner Theatre last week.  The event was jointly organised by Sands China Ltd. and Trip.com Group with the support of Macau Government Tourism Office.

Trip.com Group Gourmet Top Global Restaurant List was introduced in 2016 to provide Chinese travellers with International food and restaurant recommendations as well as a convenient online booking platform. This year, only 6,200 restaurants in 58 cities in China have been awarded.

Under the tutelage of renowned Chef Michele Dell’Aquila, The Manor presents an exquisite dining experience with an emphasis on the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients from all over the world, featuring grill-inspired dishes accented with local flavours.

Signature dishes include Glacier 51 Toothfish with black ink, toasted Chouriçomigas, Champagne emulsion and aged Miyazaki Wagyu beef striploin served with potato mille-feuille, matsutake mushroom and black truffle. Chef Michele is also renowned for hosting outstanding wine pairing gourmet dinners.  From July 12 to 16, Chef Michele has specially created a six-course dinner themed Taste of Exquisite – Champagne & Caviar, featuring a selection of premium caviar from France paired with rare vintage Champagne for a truly decadent dining experience.    – Srpr
