The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that the ‘Nanjing: City of Literature – Opening Up the Realm’ donation ceremony and poetry reading event which was scheduled for tomorrow has now been postponed until further notice.
According to the statement, due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, some of the artists were not able to come to Macau as planned. Therefore the event will be postponed sine die.
The statement said, the ‘Nanjing: City of Literature – Opening Up the Realm’ exhibition will, however, still be on from tomorrow until October 3. The bureau vowed that it will continue to pay close attention to the novel coronavirus pandemic situation and make arrangements accordingly.
