A photography event entitled “Smart Space – Guangdong-Macau Natural Ecological Film Art Works Joint Exhibition” (靈動空間—粵澳自然生態影藝作品聯展) is being held in Lou Lim Ieoc Garden.
The exhibition is jointly organised by the Macau Ecological Photography Studies Association (澳門生態攝影研究學會), Guangdong Entomological Society / Insects Photography Association (廣東省昆蟲學會昆蟲攝影協會) and Macau Association of Life Long Learners (終身學習者協會), and sponsored by the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM).
According to a statement by the organisers, the exhibition showcases 120 photographs by 53 participants from Macau and Guangdong province. The photos were taken in different places, depicting underwater creatures, birds, various types of insects and other animals. The organisers hope to closely integrate the art of photography with the dissemination of popular science through the exhibition, strengthening the promotion of pop-science and natural ecology, the statement points out.
The exhibition runs until Saturday in the public park’s Chun Chou Tong Pavilion from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
As part of the government’s COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures, all visitors entering the garden have to wear a facemask, have their temperature checked and present a digital health code.
