Air Macau said in a statement yesterday that bookings made before 11 a.m. on August 4 for departures between July 31 and August 31 can be rescheduled once free of charge to a date before June 30, 2022.
The statement also said that there are four periods that the free rescheduling does not cover – between September 28, 2021 and October 8, 2021 (Golden Week); between January 27, 2022 and February 13, 2022 (Chinese New Year); between April 1, 2022 and April 5, 2022 (Easter); and between April 29, 2022 and May 6, 2022 (Labour Day).
According to the statement, those who want a refund are exempt from transaction fees.
The statement urged residents not to rush into rescheduling their flights as they have the right to change their dates before June 30, 2022. The airline also said that the waiting time for phone enquiries may be longer than usual, hoping that customers will be patient.
