Japan’s well-known “DON DON DONKI” opens its first shop on the ground floor of the Trust Leisure Garden in Fai Chi Kei today, a joint statement by Pan Pacific International Holding Co. Limited Macau and Pacific Rim Retail Management Co. Limited said yesterday.

According to the statement, the 1,776 square metre DON DON DONKI mega-shop opens at 10 a.m. today and will be open 24/7. The statement also said that DON DON DONKI aims to use Japan-made products and products made for Japan to promote Japanese food and culture in Macau, because of which the shop focuses on providing customers with fresh and cooked food from Japan by having an open kitchen and food stall area.

The statement pointed out that the shop offers hot dishes such as Wagyu beef, Rice bowl, Yakitori, Teppanyaki, and Japanese street food.

Moreover, the shop has collaborated with the Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA) to set up battery recovery boxes to encourage recycling, while only providing customers with non-woven shopping bags and eco bags instead of ordinary plastic bags to promote the concept of being environmentally friendly.
