MGM COTAI will host a Californian Wine Pairing event tomorrow at the Vista special events space from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to a statement by MGM China last week.
The statement noted that the event is co-organised by the Wine Society of Macau, AmCham Macau and DOC DMC Macau in conjunction with MGM.
The event will feature a selection of Californian wines and food pairings arranged by the chef team of MGM, the statement said.
The statement pointed out that the event will serve 21 labels from California’s signature wine regions, such as Napa and Sonoma. These include labels such as Joseph Phelps, Shafer, Grgich Hills, Black Stallion, and Robert Mondavi.
During the event, guests may also explore “Collector Wine” tables “Cask 23” of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars and “Martha’s Vineyard” of Heitz Cellars, the statement added.
The statement also underlined that the event will serve a menu of 12 dishes curated by American chef Conor Beach, and his team from MGM COTAI’s Grill 58. Each dish pays homage to California’s gastronomy and also pairs with one or two wines from the wine selection, the statement underlined.
American hits from legends including Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin will be performed by the Tomos Griffiths Jazz Trio, followed by an afterparty with a DJ.
Tickets are priced at 600 patacas per person and include eight wine tokens to redeem wines and other drinks, all-you-can-eat food and after-party access.
The statement said that bookings and further information can be found at www.winedine-macau.com.
