Secretary for Economy and Finance Lionel Leong Vai Tac said yesterday that while the government had received a document from Wynn Resorts Macau about gaming tables for Wynn Palace in Cotai, the US gaming company had not specified the number of gaming tables and slot machines it was applying for.
Leong said that therefore he had told the Gaming Inspection and Co-ordination Bureau (DICJ) to contact the company for information specifying “actually how many gaming tables and slot machines it is applying for”.
Leong spoke to reporters yesterday at the Venetian in Cotai where he attended the inauguration ceremony for Sands China’s “Professionalism Training for Gaming Practitioners”.
