The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) said in a statement yesterday that it is reopening its service points today but its recreation facilities will remain closed until further notice.

According to the statement, its service points at China Plaza, the Macau Government Services Centre in Areia Preta and the Macau Government Services Centre in Taipa, as well as its municipal kennels reopen today, while its recreation facilities such as indoor venues, barbeque pits, parks and leisure areas’ chess tables, and children’s playgrounds will remain closed until further notice.

The bureau said that it continues to deep-clean and disinfect areas, urging residents to comply with the government’s COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines.

Meanwhile, the Transport Bureau (DSAT) said that its driving test centres and driving practice areas and other facilities will reopen today, and the written exam for drivers will resume next Friday, while the driving test will resume on October 21. The statement pointed out that some exam dates have been rescheduled. For more information, people can check https://www.dsat.gov.mo/dsatbooking/#/index.
