The Sports Bureau (ID) announced in a statement yesterday that the “68th Macau Grand Prix Family Carnival” will be held this weekend in Praça do Tap Seac, for which an online appointment will need to be made for entry.
The statement noted that the daily admission will be divided into different time slots and each slot is limited to 400 people. The statement added that three timeslots are available on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Sunday, five timeslots are available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The statement underlined that online bookings can be made via the “Macao Major Sporting Events Facebook Page” or the “Macao Major Sporting Events WeChat Account” with logging into the system from 10 a.m. today until 9 p.m. tomorrow.
The statement pointed out that each person may only book one slot per day, may register a maximum of four people each time who must enter the venue together. The statement underlined that children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The statement underlined that the registered name and last four digits of their identification documents must be consistent with their health code information.
Moreover, the statement noted that the carnival will include a recreation of the Guia Circuit in Praça do Tap Seac, featuring a mini racetrack and interactive games.
The Grand Prix Opening Ceremony and Auto Show at the square will take place from November 13-14, as well as the 68th Macau Grand Prix Photo Contest, which will be open for entries from November 22 to December 30.
The statement stressed that participants must undergo temperature checks, wear a facemask and present a valid “Macau Health Code” upon entry.
