Sheraton Grand Macao officially introduced its new venue, The Conservatory, in a statement on Wednesday, saying that it is a diverse food and beverage venue containing three distinct experiences – a Cantonese restaurant and tea room, and a confectionery store, and a British pub and restaurant.

According to the statement, The Conservatory draws inspiration from London’s classical architecture and contemporary lifestyle, with food and beverages available at any time during the day. The statement said that its Tea Room offering grab-and-go from breakfast until late connects Three Bottles, a Londonesque pub and restaurant to Chaan, a nostalgic Cantonese kitchen serving all your favourite noodles and dumplings. The statement also said that The Sweet Shop is a sugar lover’s paradise with traditional British-inspired sweets, and cakes, perfect for occasions and gift giving.

Besides the traditional Chinese dishes, Western cuisine and sweets and delicacies, The Conservatory also offers afternoon tea sets. The statement said that The Conservatory’s afternoon tea set is a contemporary take on this cornerstone of British tradition. The statement pointed out that the restaurant serves its tea set daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The statement underlined that the set’s savoury delights include the house smoked salmon and tuna tartare, poached chicken and seared foie gras puff followed with the classic British summer desserts such as Summer Berry Pudding and Strawberry Charlotte Royale, a rich dessert of genoise sponge cake, strawberry bavarois and jelly. Meanwhile, guests can also indulge in different ‘Cream Tea’ sets featuring a selection of English scones and delectable cakes for the perfect accompaniment to their coffee or tea selections.
