The 2021 CTA Tour SJM Professional Finals (Macau) and National Tennis Championships invited Macau Special Olympics (MSO) athletes to participate earlier this week in a Community Tennis Clinic where they interacted with the nation’s globally renowned tennis player Li Na (李娜), according to a SJM Resorts statement yesterday.
According to the statement, Li, who also serves as the Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics, made a special appearance at the event and interacted with the Macau Special Olympics athletes earlier this week.
The statement quoted SJM Board of Directors Chairman Daisy Ho Chiu Fung as saying during the event, “We are delighted to host this interactive tennis clinic for the members of the Macau Special Olympics, during which the members had a wonderful time with our tennis players and are inspired by their courage and perseverance. The event aims to share joy and warmth with the community, committed to building an inclusive society.”
