Some tickets still available for ‘WTT Champions Macao 2021 China Stars’

The upcoming table tennis competition ‘WTT Champions Macao 2021 China Stars’ has a limited number of tickets available for January 19-20, with tickets sold out for January 21-23, according to a statement yesterday by the Sports Bureau (ID).

The event is presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and is organised by the bureau and World Table Tennis (WTT) in conjunction with the Macau Table Tennis General Association.

The bureau noted that the tickets “have been in high demand since the start of sales”. The statement added that the tickets for the remaining dates are still available for purchase at designated Circle K convenience stores.

The statement reminded online ticket holders to collect their tickets on January 19-23 from the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion’s lobby one hour before the start of the day’s first match.

Ticket holders must show their receipts and IDs used for purchasing their tickets. Moreover, the statement pointed out that for those collecting tickets on behalf of the ticket holder, he or she must present his or her ID, receipt, a copy of the ticket holder’s ID as well as a “written authorisation from the ticket holder”. Ticket holders or their representatives must present the documents accordingly before they can collect their tickets.

The statement emphasised that COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures will be implemented during the event, adding that organisers will monitor the pandemic situation in the city and follow the guidelines of the Health Bureau (SSM).
